FootJoy MyJoys Policies

 

Since MyJoys shoes are built to your unique specifications, NO ORDER MODIFICATIONS OR CANCELLATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ONCE AN ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED.  You will be charged for these special order shoes when your order is placed - not when they are shipped.

 

We only accept orders for FootJoy MyJoys to be shipped to the 50 United States.

 

Golf Locker does not warranty these shoes.  All warranty issues are covered by FootJoy.  All MyJoys custom golf shoes are not returnable or exchangeable with GolfLocker.com for any reason due to the customized nature of the product.

 

All FootJoy MyJoys custom golf shoes are shipped directly to you from FootJoy.  We do not ship them to you.  The process of making your shoes does not start until your order is placed.  Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.  We will email you tracking information as soon as it is available to us from FootJoy.

 

All prices on FootJoy MyJoys include free standard shipping.  Expedited shipping is not available for these shoes as they are made to your exact specifications.  In other words, you can't get these shoes shipped to you overnight or 2nd day air.

 

Below is a copy of FootJoy's warranty policy on MyJoys golf shoes.

 

FootJoy's Warranty on MyJoys:

 

FootJoy stands behind the quality of materials and workmanship of all MyJoys golf shoes.  FootJoy will fully support their warranties and administer them fairly and equitably.

 

1. Full 90-Day Quality Warranty
All MyJoys golf shoes are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of original purchase.  The purchase price and related sales tax for shoes found to be defective will be credited to the original card of purchase or to the original purchase account of an authorized FootJoy reseller, as applicable.

 

2. Limited Waterproof Warranty
FootJoy warrants that MyJoys golf shoes purchased in the United States will be waterproof in normal use for two (2) years from the date of original purchase, provided that the shoes have suffered no cuts, abrasions, or other damage and have not been subjected to abuse or other mistreatment.

Should leakage develop within the applicable Limited Warranty period, FootJoy will issue credit for such shoes as follows:
(I) if shoes are returned during the first year of any warranty period, FootJoy will credit product price and related sales tax to original card of purchase, and (II) if shoes are returned during the second year of a two-year warranty period, the purchaser will be credited with 50% of the product price.

This Limited Warranty extends only to the waterproof characteristics of the shoe. 

 

3. Limited 30-Day Comfort Warranty
FootJoy assures the comfort and workmanship quality of all FootJoy shoes purchased and used in the United States for a full thirty (30) days from the date of receipt.
 
Credit for the purchase price and related sales tax for MyJoys shoes that are returned (with proof of purchase) to FootJoy within thirty (30) days will be issued.  Footwear that has been damaged, altered, or abused in any way will not be honored under this warranty.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

 

Consumer Claims Procedure
The shoes, together with the original packing list showing the date of purchase and a statement of the claimed defect, must be returned to FootJoy within the applicable warranty period.  FootJoy retains the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether the shoes contain defects in design or performance which would trigger the applicable warranty.


Warranty claims presented without the original packing list will be honored at FootJoy's sole discretion.  FOOTJOY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT OR ANY DELAY IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS WARRANTY DUE TO CAUSES BEYOND THE COMPANY'S CONTROL.  SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.  THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

 

What FootJoy Warranties Do Not Cover
Even though the applicable warranty period may not have expired, certain conditions may invalidate FootJoy warranty coverage.  By way of example, but not all inclusive, FootJoy will not issue credit for returned shoes that have experienced:

- excessive damage/scuffing to upper caused by toe drag
- damage to uppers caused by spiking
- cracking of upper leather caused by lack of proper maintenance
- damaged spike receptacles caused by using non-FootJoy replacement spikes

 

In addition, the FootJoy warranties described herein do not cover return shipping costs.

Leather Availability:

 

Leather availability is on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis.  Availability of some leathers is limited. If a color is unavailable, we will notify you by email if that leather is comes back into stock, so that you have the opportunity to submit an order at that time. We neither accept back orders for MyJoys shoes, nor hold orders for out-of-stock leathers.
