Upper Shoe Science

ECL™ Leather System by Pittards® - ECL™ or "Extreme Comfort Leather"  is a new proprietary waterproofing system developed with Pittards® of England.  It is a membrane-free leather with a 2-year waterproof warranty.  ECL Advanced Waterproof Leather is 30% softer than previous generation FootJoy performance leather.

Two-Year Limited Waterproof Warranty - FootJoy® warrants that this golf shoe will be waterproof in normal use for two years (U.S. Warranty).

Full Leather Linings - Leather linings provide superior comfort and in-shoe breathability.

Dual Density PU Fit-Bed® with Dryz® IntelliTemp™ - Varying densities of PU (poly urethane) are molded into the Fit-Bed for added support and comfort.  The Fit-Bed is embedded with Dryz IntelliTemp phase change technology.  This technology pulls in heat and stores it away from the foot, keeping it cool during play.

Outsole Science

EVA Midsoles - EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) midsoles provide lightweight cushioning underfoot.  EVA does not take a set, so the cushioning will remain constant for the life of the shoe.

Tri-Density TPU Outsoles with iSuspension™ - Varying densities of TPU (thermoplastic urethane) are strategically placed throughout the outsole for stability, flexibility and walking comfort.  iSuspension is a patent pending technology that allows the outsole to mimic the foot's natural axial rotation.  The result is an outsole that functions as an independent suspension, remaining in contact with the ground despite the lie.
